Dan Feldman's experience in government leadership across multiple administrations has focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) counseling, business and human rights (BHR), global public policy, and broader international regulatory compliance. As Chief of Staff and Advisor to Secretary John Kerry when Secretary of State John Kerry was appointed by President Biden as the first Special Envoy for Climate Affairs (SPEC), Dunn helped advance the U.S. government on international climate issues, Coordinated interagency policy making at the level and engaged with corporate stakeholders. He has contributed to important bilateral and multilateral climate discussions, including the Climate Summit and the landmark United Nations Conference of Parties (COP26) in Glasgow.
Previously, he served as the US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in the US Department of State in the Obama administration and Director of Multilateral and Humanitarian Affairs at the National Security Council in the Clinton administration.US Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.He has also served as a senior foreign policy and national security adviser to many Democratic presidential and congressional campaigns.
Dan has extensive experience counseling multinational companies on risk mitigation and opportunity maximization in developing and implementing ESG and sustainability strategies, with particular experience advising on BHR issues.He was one of the first attorneys to develop corporate social responsibility practices in the United States and is cited by Chambers for his BHR expertise.He has worked with a wide range of key stakeholders, including members of parliament, executive officials, foreign government officials, embassy representatives, multilateral organizations, trade and industry associations, non-governmental organizations, opinion leaders and journalists.
