The Revised Whistleblower Protection Act will come into effect in 2022, making it mandatory for companies with 301 or more employees to establish an internal reporting system. This legal amendment has prompted companies to establish and operate internal reporting systems as a matter of course. However, the results of a survey of 1 employees regarding internal reporting systems released by the Consumer Affairs Agency reveal that many companies still do not have a high level of trust in their internal reporting systems, and there are still issues with their effectiveness.
In this seminar, we will analyze the reasons why the current internal reporting system is not functioning adequately based on the survey results mentioned above and explain specific measures for building an effective fraud detection system.
