This is a follow-up to the content I was not able to cover at the "Legal Due Diligence Practical Techniques for M&A" seminar held in May due to time constraints.
The M&A market is becoming more and more lively. Attorney Shunsuke Inoue of Hibiya Nakata Law Office, one of the authors of "Legal Practice of Cross-border M&A: Commentary on Issues" (Commercial Law), published last year, will explain due diligence, which is particularly important in M&A, using actual examples, including the perspectives of human rights and ESG, which have been attracting particular attention recently. He has published numerous essays and seminars on M&A, competition law, etc. He came to his current position after working at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu Law Firm and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He is a lecturer for non-graduate students at the University of Tokyo Law School. His publications include ``Cross-border M&A Legal Practice'' (Shoji Homu, co-author).
