For many years, he has been engaged in handling and advising on cases relating to all areas of competition law, with a focus on antitrust law. In addition to providing legal advice on domestic and international business combination regulations and alliances, and counseling on the formulation and implementation of peacetime and contingency programs, he is also actively involved in areas where competition law intersects with other legal areas, such as the application of competition law to the digital sector and to regulated industries such as electricity, gas, and telecommunications. Drawing on his experience at the JFTC, he has also been involved in responding to examinations by the authorities, including international cartel cases, and litigation involving competition law.
