The EU Data Act, which will come into effect on September 2025, 9, is mandatory for all businesses distributing products that collect data on the EU market, and for many businesses providing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services with users within the EU. However, since there are no similar laws anywhere in the world, it is not easy to understand just by looking at the translation of the provisions, making it difficult to gather information to understand the whole picture and respond to it.
The purpose of this seminar is to have a lecturer who has been based in Germany and has assisted many Japanese companies in complying with EU digital-related legislation provide a concise, one-hour presentation of the information necessary for Japanese companies to set a course for compliance and to help them get an idea of how to respond.
