Tetsuya Sogi

Appointed as a prosecutor in 1986, he served as head of the special investigation department of the Osaka District Public Prosecutors Office, chief prosecutor of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, and superintendent of the Takamatsu High Public Prosecutors Office, before retiring as superintendent of the Osaka High Public Prosecutors Office in 2023. During that time, he was involved in and engaged in investigations and trials of bribery cases, large-scale corporate crimes, violations of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act such as insider trading and stock price manipulation, and tax evasion cases, while also serving as first secretary at the Japanese Embassy in Germany and instructor at the Legal Training and Research Institute. Since 2023, he has been an advisor to Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu law firm.

Daisuke Fukamizu

Joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in 2008. Qualified as a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2012. From 2015, spent two years at King's College London and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, acquiring knowledge in the fields of EU competition law and white-collar crime before returning to Japan. Has handled numerous large-scale corporate cases, including dealing with global authorities. As a professor at Shinshu University, he also conducts research on corporate crime both domestically and internationally.
