On December 2023, 12, the construction and operation guidelines, which are the criteria for reviewing the granting of the Privacy Mark, were revised. This is based on the revision of JIS Q25, which is a requirement for personal information protection management systems.
When applying for the granting or renewal of the Privacy Mark after October 2024, 10, a review will be conducted to determine whether regulations have been prepared and records of operation have been made in accordance with the revised new construction and operation guidelines.
