Due to the high demand for the online seminar that USHIJIMA & PARTNERS and our company held on Monday, April 2020, 4, we are pleased to present the first half of the seminar on this website. The lecturers are Mr. Sarukura and Mr. Kosaka, attorneys at USHIJIMA & PARTNERS, and Hatakeyama, a sales representative of FRONTEO.
Most of the recent fraud and misconduct cases have developed into serious incidents because the whistleblower system and other systems were in place but were not functioning sufficiently. As a result, directors and other officers are liable for huge amounts of compensation, are forced to resign, and in many cases are held criminally liable. In this seminar, we will explain in detail how fraud and scandals are often uncovered and how the system for early detection of fraud needs to be reviewed based on such actual conditions, based on actual cases of recent scandals. The presentation will then discuss how effective internal audits during normal times, which many companies are considering introducing these days, can be, along with examples of how internal audits can detect fraud at an early stage.
Program
(1) Detection patterns of fraud and scandals in recent cases
(2) Disadvantages to the company caused by external scandals
(3) Responsibilities of officers due to the discovery of scandals (civil liability, criminal liability, liability, reduction)
(4) Specific measures for early detection of improprieties (limitations of whistleblowing, etc.)
(5) Specific examples of FRONTEO internal audits and successful examples
(6) Specific image of FRONTEO internal audit introduction
Only members can watch it.
Please refrain from registering at a law firm, in the same industry as our company, or with a free email address.
