If your company has business interactions with the U.S. (deals with companies or consumers, has a business presence in the U.S.), you are more or less likely to be sued. In addition to being involved as a party, you may well be involved as a third party in a lawsuit in which your subsidiary or parent company is involved. Once involved in a lawsuit, the relevant documents must be filed within a certain (surprisingly short) period of time. In order to do this promptly, it is essential to be prepared from normal times and to simulate contingencies. If the initial response is not correct, unnecessary work and costs may still be incurred, but inadvertent deletion or destruction of relevant e-mails may result in sanctions. Since its founding in 2003, FRONTEO has been providing support services to companies that have had a difficult time with international litigation.
