How the leak was discovered:
The leak was discovered when the Cybercrime Division of the prefectural police reported that there were signs of unauthorized access to the EC site. After notifying the Personal Information Protection Commission, the insurance company, and other parties, FRONTEO was contacted and an investigation was initiated.
